Training Practice

We regularly have GP Trainees and/or Foundation Year level 2 GP’s on placement at the Practice.  These are qualified Doctors, but in their final years of training.  They assist with multiple areas in the Health Centre e.g telephone triage, face to face appointments with patients, Assisting in Minor injuries unit etc

We are fortunate to have medical students attached to out practice for short periods.  You will be informed if the student is scheduled to be with your doctor.  You are perfectly entitled to ask to see your doctor without the student present if you wish.  Please let the receptionist know if this is the case.
