TEXT MESSAGING

To make communication more efficient and convenient with Bydand Medical Group (both Huntly & Rhynie Branches) we are expanding our use of text messaging to include basic test results and other non-clinical updates.

The service is not a replacement for GP consultations - It simply streamlines certain phone calls from our Admin team and GP's, helping us to serve you better while respecting your time.

As you have provided your mobile number we will take this as implied consent for us to contact you via text message. It is your responsibility to keep the Practice updated with the appropriate mobile number and we cannot accept responsibility for messages sent to an out of date number if we have not been advised of a change.

If you wish to OPT OUT of receiving text message communication please ask at the reception desk for a form to complete so we can record this in your record.
